Ideal to dive in the afternoon because the tide height difference becomes large in the afternoon especially between May through July season. This is similar condition as “yellow", but this case is in the afternoon. Back to Tide Calendar

07:00 a.m.

Just before or full/new moon timing. The highest tide falls early in the morning and the tide starts going down all the morning through early afternoon affecting visibility and current in the channels. Dive site options for the 3rd dive may be limited when the out reef becomes rough due to the weather condition or the trade winds from late November through early April. Back to Tide Calendar

Ideal timing to expect high visibility and big animals such as mantas and sharks in the channels especially from November through March. The tide starts going down sometimes in late morning through afternoon, causing lower visibility and out-going currents. Dive site options for the 3rd dive may be limited when the out reef becomes rough due to the weather condition or the trade winds from late November through early April. Back to Tide Calendar

Still good timing for expecting better visibility and big animals such as mantas and sharks especially in the channels from November through March. The tide starts going down around noon through all afternoon, causing lower visibility and out-going currents. Dive site options for the 3rd dive may be limited when the out reef becomes rough due to the weather condition or the trade winds from late November through early April. Back to Tide Calendar

09:00 a.m.

~

10:00 a.m.

Good timing for expecting slow and easy dives for small creatures in the lagoons and out reef dives for larger fish. When the trade winds picks up, from late November through early April, most of the dive sites that locate northeastern to southeastern reefs will be closed due to big waves. Because there is little difference between ebb and flow, visibility in the channels become quite low. Back to Tide Calendar
